"13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless."
GET YOURSELF TOGETHER!
Beloved brothers and sisters, we have such a great hope. We know that faithful day will come, when Jesus shall return and take those that do the will of his Father, who is in heaven. We also know that when that day comes, there will be a new earth and a new heaven (see Revelation 21:1). However, let us all not forget that there will be many that will pass on before that great day. The time to get right with God is now. Why now? well, no man know the day, nor the hour He shall return.
2 Peter 3 is encouraging us, as believers, to stay diligent until that faithful day. That means that we all should be found by the King, working, until He returns or until death. At times, it will be easier to sin than to live righteously, but we must stay diligent/faithful. We must continue to abstain from sin because it is sin that covers the body with blemishes and spots. God is returning looking for a worker without spot, blemish or blame.
Take a look in the mirror. Are you covered in His blood or are you covered in blemishes?
This is KINGDOM perception, and a seed has been planted.
